Next Leeds Manager Odds

End of the Elland Road

After three years in charge Leeds United have sacked manager Simon Grayson. We look at the candidates to replace him.

Leeds have parted company with Simon Grayson and the bookmakers are already pricing up potential replacements. Sitting in 10th spot, only three points from the playoffs, promotion is still a realistic aim for the new man.

Neil Warnock - 8/11 with Boylesports
Available after his sacking from QPR, he has a reputation of getting teams out of the Championship. He looks the obvious choice but that is built into the price.

Roberto Di Matteo - 5/1 with Stan James
Another manager who has enjoyed success in the Championship. One must suspect he is on a good wage as assistant manager at Chelsea and invigorated by the long-term project to re-establish the club at the top of the Premier League. He might be hard to tempt away.

Neil Redfearn - 10/1 with Skybet
Youth team boss temporarily put in charge of first team affairs. Lack of managerial experience might count against him but if the recruitment process drags, he has a chance to shine.

Gordon Strachan - 20/1 with Skybet
A Leeds United legend, he would prove a popular choice amongst fans. His managerial reputation took a dent at Middlesbrough and he has spent the last 18 months enjoying life as a pundit. Unknown if he still has the appetite for management, could be tempted by Leeds however.
