Aston Villa have suddenly become a side involved in entertaining matches with the last three outings ending 2-2, 3-2 and 2-3. This has much to do with Robbie Keane and Darren Bent causing problems at the attacking end while the defence struggles at the other.
Newcastle had a shock recently when Fulham put five past them, but the defence is still capable, just having more off-days without Steven Taylor. But with Demba Ba and new signing Papiss Cisse ready to link up on Sunday, there are prolific strikers everywhere you look. It should be lively, but close, so i advice taking a punt on the score draw at best odds of 19/5 with BetVictor.
The Magpies are favourites but Alex McLeish’s side should no longer be underestimated on the road in particular. Villa are unbeaten in five away league matches and have won the last two. They have also retrieved more points from losing positions (11) than any other top flight side this campaign. So don’t lose hope for the bet if Newcastle get their noses in front.
