Liverpool v Swansea Tip

The Swans are ranked higher, won on the ground recently and are on better form.

No need to over-elaborate on this tip. Quite simply, Swansea are just far too long, yet again, at best odds of 6/1 (Bet365) to beat Liverpool.

The Welsh club are above the Merseysiders in the league table after 26 matches - too many to be a fluke - and they have already won 3-1 at Anfield this season in the League Cup.

They will be playing in the final of that competition in seven days’ time, but this is the sort of fixture that suits Brian Laudrup’s boys as a warm-up. It’s unlikely to be an overtly physical contest, as it features two teams who love to pass and keep the ball.

Swansea are unbeaten in their last four against the Reds in all competitions (W2 D2) and Liverpool are yet to beat a team ranked above them all season. All things considered, the visitors should probably be at least half the price they are to take three points, so we have to get on board.
