Goals Galore Matchday 23

Last weekend there were only three matches where both teams scored but our predictions still turned a profit.

In recent years the ‘both teams to score’ market has become a most popular football bet. For the rest of the season we search for a potential edge over the bookmakers in this area. Using past results we have devised a set of simple betting rules:

Both Teams To Score - Yes
1. If odds are greater than 5/6
2. Bottom five of the league
3. One of the five worst defensive records

Both Teams to score – No
1. If odds are greater than 6/5
2. If Manchester City or Manchester United are involved
3. Top five meanest defensive record

For the reminder of the season we will be placing a hypothetical £10 bet when there is a majority of ‘yes’ or ‘no’ votes. If there is an equal number of ‘yes’ and ‘no’ votes we do not place a bet.
