Galatasaray v Braga Tip
Istanbul has never been an easy CL venue and the Portuguese look there for the taking.
It looks hard to extract much value out of the Chelsea and Manchester United Champions League ties on Tuesday so I’ve turned to a recent visitor to Old Trafford for a betting alternative. Galatasaray are 10/11 (Betfred) to beat Braga in Istanbul, and it looks like a home banker.
The Turkish champions were robbed at the Theatre of Dreams after hitting the woodwork three times and having a blatant penalty turned down in the opening 30 seconds. Many teams would love to escape United with a 1-0 loss, but Galatasaray felt aggrieved.
The hosts should take out their frustration on Dutch opponents who slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Champions League minnows Cluj in Gameweek 1. Braga will surely be full of trepidation on their trip to a stadium where Galatasaray have lost just once in nine European outings.
