Fulham v Liverpool: First Goalscorer Tip
The South American is due a goal. He's had more attempts than any other player in the division.
Luis Suarez looks like great value in the first goalscorer market at a best price of 6/1 with Bet365. Liverpool’s star striker has had more shots (49) than any other player in the Premier League heading into the latest round of matches. The Uruquayan also averages 8.2 touches per game inside the opposition penalty area; again more than any other top-flight player.
In other words, he gets in dangerous positions and isn’t afraid to try his luck. With nobody questioning the 24-year-old’s talent, it looks like any time now he will enter a rich vein of scoring form. He can’t keep hitting the woodwork and finding goalkeepers in inspired form every week. With seven goals in all competitions, his record isn’t bad, it just should be a lot better. But then, if it was, we wouldn’t be getting 6/1 on the most prolific shooter in the division!
Fulham have been surprising disappointing in the Premier League at home so far, winning only once. They have failed to score against the Reds in six of the last eight meetings, so they will struggle to feel confident heading into this one. Liverpool don’t have anyone, other than Suarez, with more than two league goals so far this season either. Any way you look at it, the former Ajax goal machine looks like a good bet.
