A transitional period for Fulham is in danger of looking plain unsettled. Star man Clint Dempsey wants away, captain Danny Murphy has been released and striker Pavel Pogrebnyak opted for Reading after contract negotiations broke down. The fans will hardly be drooling over the free transfers coming in either.
Verdict:
In such a competitive division it doesn’t take much imagination to see Fulham emerge as relegation candidates at best odds of 10/1 (Skybet). The away form is already worthy of a bottom three side so if they don’t perform at the Cottage then alarm bells will be ringing.
