'SOS' Can Heap The Anguish On Wenger
Sturridge has scored 9 in his last 8 in all competitions and we get our money back if Suarez beats him to the draw.
It will be fascinating to see what sort of Arsenal turns out for the FA Cup clash with Liverpool just a fortnight on from the league clash which saw the Reds storm to a 5-1 victory at Anfield.
This time the Gunners have home advantage but it’s hard to see what else in in their favour. Arsene Wenger is forced to have one eye on the impending Champions League clash with Bayern Munich in midweek while the Merseysiders will have a full week to recover from this one.
Consequently, Olivier Giroud may be rested by the hosts while Liverpool’s ‘SOS’ pairing should feature prominently. Daniel Sturridge has now scored in eight consecutive matches and has to be backed at 11/2 with PaddyPower in the first goalscorer market. Although other firms offer 6/1, the Irish firm win the day by offering a refund if the prolific Luis Suarez breaks the deadlock instead.
