FA Cup Accumulator: Tranmere & MK Dons

The gap between the top of League 1 and the Championship isn’t as big as the bookmakers make out.

At 17/1 (Bet365) there is value in backing Tranmere and MK Dons to win against Championship opposition.

Tranmere currently sit top of League 1, whilst MK Dons are in the playoff positions, it’s not inconceivable that next season both sides find themselves in the Championship.

Their opponents Derby and Sheffield Wednesday aren’t pulling up any trees at the moment and the gap between the two leagues isn’t that big. Last year’s promoted sides from League One (Charlton, Huddersfield and Sheff Wed) are averaging 30 pointsthis season, which is good enough for 19th position.

There isnt’ much difference between a top League 1 side and a bottom half Championship side but their chances seem underrated by the bookmakers. On current form Tranmere & MK Dons hold the edge, making a win double an attractive bet at 17/1 (Bet365).
