Coyle Given Short Shrift at Bolton

Bolton Wanderers are looking for a new manager after making a slow start to life in the Championship.

Owen Coyle has been sacked by Bolton Wanderers after relegation from the Premier League was followed by a poor start in the second tier. The former Burnley boss leaves the Trotters in 18th position after two defeats and a draw in the last three outings.

Mick McCarthy was been quickly installed as the favourite to take the helm at a best price of 2/1 with Ladbrokes. Other names who may be interested in the vacancy at the Reebok are Alex McLeish (12/1 Bet365), Sammy Lee (12/1 PaddyPower) and Roy Keane (20/1 BetVictor)
