City’s Hopes Hang By A Thread
Manchester City are 20/1 (Stan James) to qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
Manchester City’s Champions League dreams are all but over after a disappointing draw against Ajax. Having been two-nil down after 20 minutes, Roberto Mancini’s men staged a sterling fight-back but just fell short of the victory they desperately needed.
City now need other results to go their way to qualify and are a best price 20/1 (Stan James) to make it out of the group.
In group B, Arsenal surrendered a two-goal lead to Schalke but a draw was still a positive result and has seen their odds cut to 1/8 (Paddy Power) to qualify for the knock-out stage of the Champions League.
