Tractors Boys Aim For Top Spot
Ipswich can go top of the league if they win this one after Bournemouth slipped up on Tuesday.
Quite simply, it doesn’t really make sense for Brighton to be favourites (19/10 BetVictor) for their home clash with Ipswich on Wednesday night so we should back the visitors at a best price of 9/5 (Coral).
Admittedly the Seagulls have improved since around the turn of the year, particularly after Chris Hughton came in as manager, but they remain sixth bottom of the Championship with just two wins in front of their own fans all season.
Compare that to Ipswich who returned to the automatic promotion places with a 3-1 victory at the Den on Saturday. That made it seven matches unbeaten on the road for Mick McCarthy’s men - a run which extends back exactly three months.
With Hughton’s new boss bubble potentially bursting last time out with the home loss to Brentford, we should back Town to go top here.
