Championship Acca

There's almost a full programme in the second tier today where Bournemouth and Ipswich have a chance to steal a march on their promotion rivals.

We’re backing two of the division’s top four sides along with Bolton, who are still unbeaten at home in the league under Neil Lennon. It comes in as a best price 11/1 shot with Betfred.

Bournemouth (4/7) to win at home to Huddersfield:

We’ll start with what should be the banker. The Cherries are still riding high, just one point off the top spot as we enter the business end of the season and they are the only team to score in every single home game. Town arrive off the back of a midweek 4-1 home defeat to Wolves and those defensive frailties should be exposed again here.

Ipswich (7/5) to win at Fulham:

The Tractor Boys endured a min-wobble after three winless games but they got back to winning ways against Wednesday last time out. That will restore belief and with Boro and Derby distracted by the FA Cup this weekend, Town could sneak back into the automatic promotion race. Fulham are stagnating after five winless fixtures in all competitions.

Bolton (9/4) to win at home to Watford:

The Hornets are favourites here but they’re like almost any other team in the Championship -they lose nearly as many as they win on the road (W7 D2 L6). Compare that to a Trotters side who are unbeaten in the league at the Macron Stadium under Neil Lennon, a run dating back to 4 October (W6 D3). Bolton have also won their last 4 meetings with Watford here.
