Austin Powers QPR Towards Top Flight

The former Burnley star has now scored 46 times in two seasons.

Derby stormed into a 2-1 lead at Brighton on Thursday night and Harry Redknapp has urged his players to go on the offensive in their play-off semi-final away leg as well.

QPR’s best chance of an away goal or two must lie with their lead striker Charlie Austin. The 24-year-old has finished the regular season in fine fettle having found the net in each of his last three outings against Watford, Millwall and Barnsley. That took his tally to 18 for the campaign and he rates as good value at best odds of 15/8 (Bet365) in the anytime goalscorer market.

Austin grabbed an impressive 28 goals for Burnley in 2013-14 which was enough to urge Harry Redknapp to make a move for his signature last summer. He will fancy his chances of troubling a Wigan side who conceded four against Blackburn last time out.
