Championship Accumulator

Playing at home isn’t much of an advantage for teams struggling in the bottom three. The value is on the in-form visitors.

Frustratingly, Watford let a 2-0 lead slip against Blackpool at the weekend. A last minute equaliser for the Tangerines scuppered our 7/1 accumulator, but it was still a positive performance from Gianfranco Zola’s team.

The Hornets are unbeaten in their last five matches and face a Sheffield Wednesday team in the relegation zone. The Owls have lost their last four league matches and are low in confidence. After Saturday’s home defeat to Leicester, manager Dave Jones voiced his concerns, describing his team as being “outplayed and outfought.”  The 21/10 (BetVictor) on a Watford win looks big.

Another team looking to pick up 3-points on their travels are Nottingham Forest. They face an Ipswich side with the worst home record in the division. Mick McCarthy’s team were booed off at half-time on Saturday, before limping to a draw against fellow strugglers Peterborough. Forest travel to Portman Road in high spirits, having lost only one of their last 10 matches. An away win looks overpriced at 7/5 (BetVictor).

A straight forward win double of Watford and Nottingham Forest pays a generous looking 13/2 with BetVictor.
