Ajax v AC Milan Tip

For all the controversy, Mario has a phenomenal strike rate in Serie A.

In his last Serie A match, he scored, missed the first penalty of his career, and was sent off - all in a night’s work for Mario Balotelli.

Domestic suspension means he is now well-rested for Milan’s Champions League trip to Ajax and the former Man City star is worth a look at 17/10 (BetVictor) to find the net anytime on Tuesday night.

Say what you want about Balotelli but he is proving his worth on the football pitch these days. Since arriving at the San Siro in January he has scored a hugely impressive 15 goals in 17 Serie A appearances. Throw in six goals for the Italian national team in 2013 and his stats most definitely add up to being ‘worth the risk.’

Only Cristiano Ronaldo had more shots on target in Gameweek 1 of the Champions League, and he grabbed a hat-trick. Balotelli fired a rare blank, but he forced saves from six of seven attempts against Celtic and it’s a matter of time before he starts causing havoc in this competition.

Ajax conceded four against Barcelona and another four against PSV three days later. Faced with a leaky defence, this 23-year-old looks a good bet to net.
