Aguero Favourite To Replace Tevez
Sergio Aguero is odds-on to join Manchester City after news that Corinthians’ bid for Carlos Tevez has been accepted.
It looks like the long running Tevez saga is about to be resolved after Manchester City accepted a bid for their captain. Brazilian club Corinthians are believed to have bid £40million for the player.
“We have an agreement with Corinthians but Carlos now is still a City player,” Mancini told Sky Sports News.
The Italian is expected to make a swift move to replace his key striker, with fellow Argentine Sergio Aguero seen as the ideal replacement. The Atletico Madrid player is valued at £45million, with Skybet offering odds of 1/4 that he joins City by the close of the transfer window.
Manchester City remain unchanged in the betting for the Premier League at 4/1, third favourites.
