A Quick Premier League Return
With Birmingham, Blackpool and West Ham relegated, the bookmakers have priced up their chances of a swift return.
It is not even 24 hours since Birmingham and Blackpool dropped out of the Premier League but Skybet are already pricing up their return. According to the betting West Ham are the most likely to bounce back and are 2/1 to win promotion next season. Birmingham are close behind at 9/4 with Blackpool outsiders of the trio at 9/2.
In the outright betting West Ham are joint favourites with Leicester to win the Championship next season at 7/1. Birmingham are third favourites at 8/1 where as Blackpool are back in the pack at 16/1.
Skybet expect the breakup of Ian Holloway’s entertainers and predict a difficult year ahead. Such is the pessimism, that newly promoted Brighton at 14/1 are deemed more likely to win the Championship than fellow seasiders Blackpool.
