Pietersen Delivers For England

KP: A 20th Test Century

The England number four brushed off some switch-hitting controversy to hit the highest ever score by an Englishman in Sri Lanka.

Kevin Pietersen finally gave England some cheer in what has been a miserable winter by firing 151 as the tourists took control of the second Test in Columbo. Sri Lanka trail by 181 runs after ending play on 4-0 in their second innings having finally dismissed the number one ranked team in the world for 460.

England are now a best price of 1/2 (Skybet) to end their run of four straight defeats with a win that would level the series at 1-1. The draw is 21/10 (Bet365) with Sri Lanka way out at 18/1 (WilliamHill) to turn it all around and triumph again.
