Omega European Masters Tips: Paul Waring

Former English amateur champion is starting to deliver the results after an injury plagued couple of years.

The Omega European Masters kicks off on Thursday in the Swiss Alps and Paul Waring can continue his climb up the rankings with another good performances.

The 28-year-old’s career stalled after a serious wrist injury two years ago but the Englishman is back to full fitness and enjoying a productive 2013.

With four top-20 finishes in his last seven starts, Waring arrives in Switzerland in good form and if his putter gets hot he could be in for a good week.

Tee to green everything is working well, Waring ranks 20th for driving distance and 19th for GIRs on tour. At 66/1 (Paddy Power) the former English amateur champion looks a good each-way bet with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
