Murray woes Continue

Andy Murray crashed out in the 3rd round of the Madrid Open in straight sets.

Andy Murray’s troubles continued in Spain after he was dispatched 6-4 6-2 by Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci, the world number 36. The British number one put a brave face on his latest disappointment, saying “I’m happy that physically I progressed.”

The Scot was coming back from an elbow injury but time to find form ahead of the French Open is fast running out. The Paris event begins on 22 May on clay, not his favoured surface, so he is as long as 33/1 with Boylesports to win his first Grand Slam there.
