Novak Djokovic: (13/8 Betfred)

Grand Slams Won: 5

Wimbledon Record: Winner (2011)

Form Guide: Narrowly missed out on becoming the first man to win all four Grand Slam titles consecutively since 1969, at Roland Garros. Had the rain not come when it did, the Serbian might just have done it. He had all the momentum in the fourth set but when play resumed next day Nadal re-asserted his clay dominance. But that defeat doesn’t alter his status as the dominant force in men’s tennis for the past 18 months.

Rafael Nadal: (9/4 WilliamHill)

Grand Slams Won: 11

Wimbledon Record: Winner (2008, 2010)

Form Guide: Made history by winning the French Open for a record-breaking seventh time.  But is the undisputed king of clay equipped to beat all-comers on grass? Djokovic must be the only man he still fears, although three consecutive victories over his main rival should help. Those were all on clay; the Spaniard had lost three Slam finals in a row over the Serbian before that, including the 2011 Wimbledon final.

Roger Federer: (5/1 BetVictor)

Grand Slams Won: 16

Wimbledon Record: Winner (2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009)

Form Guide: The fact that he hasn’t won any of the majors since January 2010 will be enough to put many punters off a man who turns 31 in August. But his fans will point out that he can’t be doing too badly if the world’s number one ranking is still potentially within his reach with victory at the All-England club. There may also be a sense that if the Swiss is to roll back the years anywhere, it’s Centre Court.

Andy Murray: (12/1 Boylesports)

Grand Slam Won: 0

Wimbledon Record: Semi-Final (2009, 2010, 2011)

Form Guide: About as discouraging as it could possibly be for a player ranked four in the world heading into his home Slam. After losing an epic semi-final to Djokovic in the Australian Open, the Scot has endured a pretty miserable year. A first round defeat at Queen’s, followed by a further warm-up loss last week is worrying. Looks further away than ever from a first major title.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga: (40/1 Boylesports)

Grand Slams Won: 0

Wimbledon Record: Semi-Final (2011)

Form Guide: Broke the ‘big four’ stranglehold at SW19 last year by defeating Federer in the quarter-finals from two sets down. He then gave Djokovic a run for his money in the semis. Unfortunately he injured his finger in defeat at Queen’s and we won’t know how fit he really is until he comes out for a tricky first round clash with Lleyton Hewitt.
