Six Nations Betting: England Favourites

England hammer Italy and France squeeze past Ireland to make it a two horse race in the Six Nations.

The Six Nations betting is now a two horse race between England and France after this weekend’s matches.

Martin Johnson’s men demolished Italy 59-13 at Twickenham and are 5/6 to win the Six Nations with the Grand Slam a 15/8 chance with Betfred. The top try scorer market is over as a contest with Chris Ashton leading the way with six tries.

Rivals for the title are France, who snuck past Ireland at the Aviva staium 22-25 and are now 6/4 for the championship. It was a case of what might have been for Ireland who outscored France by three tries to one but their ill discipline was punished as France kicked six penalties. The best Ireland can hope for is a Triple Crown for which they are 9/2 with Paddypower.

Everything is now set up for a probable tournament decider at Twickenham in two weeks’ time when England take on France.
