Warwick Tip: My Kingdom

Ease in grade and slower underfoot conditions play to his strengths.

After losing his way last year, My Kingdom regained the winning thread on his third start for Ian Williams. A return to 6f and class 5 racing seemed to do the trick at Wolverhampton 18 days ago and he races in the same grade in the 2.45 Warwick.

After overnight rain and more forecast during the day, the ground will be riding at least good to soft and possibly slower. This should not cause any issues for My Kingdom who has stamina in abundance; he has 5 wins from 18 starts on ground described as good or softer.

In soft conditions, the pack often heads towards the stand’s side rail and drawn on the wide outside in stall 16, this could work in My Kingdom’s favour. At 5/1 (William Hill) he looks the best bet in the race.
