Sandown Tips: Rocket Rob
Course specialist with three wins at the track and he’s bagged a good draw.
After several good runs over six furlongs, Rocket Rob drops to his optimal trip at his favourite track in the 3.30 Sandown.
Willie Musson’s seven-year-old is at his best on a stiff 5f track following a strong pace, both of which he should get this afternoon. In seven visits to the Esher track, Rocket Rob has barely run a bad race.

Ignoring his racecourse debut, Rocket Rob has been amazingly consistent at the track. His ratings have declined over time as he’s got older, but racing off a mark of 73 he will almost certainly run above his official mark.
Drawn in stall 2, he also benefits from the draw bias at the track, with the far running rail a big advantage.
Rylee Mooch and Tagula Night should give him a good tow into the race and I’d be surprised if Rocket Rob wasn’t in the shake up once again.
