Sandown Tips: Asian Trader

Form of his maiden win is working out well and has an excellent draw.

Asian Trader could provide Frankie Dettori with his first winner since his drugs ban in the 6.50 Sandown, but it is the draw rather than the jockey that will make the difference.

A low draw is a big advantage on Sandown’s 5f track and in stall 2, Asian Trader should get the run of the race.

Alnoomaas on his inside races prominently and should give him a tow into the race, whilst those immediately to his outside are hold up horses that shouldn’t cause him problems at the start.

Although Asian Trader only has a maiden win to his name, he couldn’t have done it much more easily, romping home on the bridle by 4.5 lengths. The horses he beat have run well since and the form looks relatively strong. At 3/1 (Paddy Power) he looks hard to beat.
