Newcastle Tips: Tenhoo
Suffered by setting a very strong gallop last time but did well to finish second. Can win given a more judicious ride.
Last time out Tenhoo set an unsustainably strong gallop in an amateur riders event and given a more even paced ride he can win the 8.10 Newcastle.
At Haydock his finishing speed was 93.4%, with par at 100% it means he slowed dramatically in the final portion of the race having set an overly strong gallop.
Under the circumstances, he did well to finish second and the form of the race has worked out well with the fourth and sixth placed horses wining their next starts.
Racing off a winnable mark, in a low grade Tenhoo looks a solid bet.
