Won the race last year and will enjoy a strong gallop on soft ground.
Fast Shot won this race last year and it looks like things are falling right for him again.
To be at his best he needs cut in the ground and a strong pace to aim at, both of which he should get in the 2.40 Newcastle.
Placed on his last three outings, Fast Shot has been unlucky not to get his head in front. In each of those races the leaders didn’t come back to him as you would normally expect but with the likes of Spinatrix in the field, there should be a stronger early pace.
