Haydock Tips: Mappin Time
Finished in the top-3 in all three starts over course and distance; never beaten more than half a length.
Mappin Time has been running well all season and back on good to firm ground at his favourite track, he should run a big race in the 4.20 Haydock.
His record over 6f at the track is 313 but both defeats were by no more than half a length.
Last time out at Doncaster, his jockey struggled to find any cover but with Tyfos and Burnhope in the race, Daryl Byrne should get a nice lead.
Racing off a fair handicap mark, I’d be surprised if Mappin Time didn’t go close at 9/2 (Paddy Power).
