Bet365 Gold Cup Day

bet365 gold cup day

A high quality card at Sandown is the highlight of a busy afternoon’s racing.

Bet365 Gold Cup day is the final act of the domestic National Hunt season. As Sandown says goodbye to jumps racing for another year it ushers in the flat season all on the same card.

The highlight of the day is the 3.10 Bet365 Gold Cup, where 18 runners compete for the £150,000 prize fund. Baby Run at 13/2 is just hanging on to favouritism but Aimigayle is closing in fast, the 15/2 won’t be hanging around for long.

When placing your bet on the race it is worth noting that Bet365, Skybet and Boylesports are paying out each way on the top five. Great value considering the medium size field.

The flat highlight is the 3.45 bet365 mile, where 4/5 favourite Dick Turpin looks to step out of the shadows of stable mate Canford Cliffs. A group one winner in his own right, the Richard Hannon four year old will be looking to establish himself as one of the top milers in Europe this season.
