Ayr Tips: Rich Again
Ran a cracking race at Haydock, finishing a close third in a higher grade, after a 131-day layoff. Should go close if building on that performance.
Connections must have been delighted with Rich Again’s performance at Haydock eleven days ago, finishing a good third after 131 days off track.
It’s certainly a performance I didn’t expect. Having only his third start on turf and rated 65, he did incredibly well to finish in the shake-up of a class 4 handicap. If he hadn’t been hampered in the last 100 yards he would have finished even closer.
Dropping down in class this afternoon he should find life a little easier and if he comes on for the run he should go close at 5/1 (Bet365).
