Another Winning Weekend
Our racing tipster continued his good form by tipping Carruthers at 20/1 for Saturday’s feature race, the Hennessy Gold Cup.
It was another memorable weekend as our tipster somehow found the Hennessy winner Carruthers at advised odds of 20/1. Well backed on course, the eight-year-old put in a superb round of jumping to hold off his challengers and win by 3.75 lengths, netting our tipster 25 points profit.
The Welsh National now looks like his next stop, for which he is 12/1 with Betfred. However he will need to turn around the form with his Cheltenham conquer Galaxy Rock, who is the 12/1 (Paddy Power) joint third favourite.
There was not much movement in antepost betting for the Cheltenham Festival. Overturn is 20/1 (from 33s) with Victor Chandler for the Champion Hurdle after winning the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle. Binocular failed to win the race for the third time and has been eased out to 16/1 (Boylesports) to repeat his 2010 Cheltenham win.
