WGC Cadillac Tips: Gary Woodland
Finished T16 last year without making anything on the greens. Has the power to tame the Blue Monster.
The redesigned Trump National Doral turned out to be a bit of a beast last year and measuring 7,528 yards it’s going to favour the long hitters again.
Just to emphasise the fact, four of last year’s top-5 were in the top-10 for driving distance during the week.
Gary Woodland is one of the longest hitters on tour and I expect him to recover from a mini slump in form at a venue that plays to his strength.

Last year Woodland finished T16 despite losing -0.596 strokes per round putting; just an average putting display would have put him in the top-10.
It wasn’t that long ago that Woodland finished T3 at the Sony Open and at 100/1 (Bet365) he is a good each-way bet.
