WGC Bridgestone: Adam Scott

WGC Bridgestone: Adam Scott

Won in 2011 and having Steve Williams on the bag is a huge advantage.

Adam Scott’s wretched finish at the Open, which included an incredulous OB on the 18th cost us a good payday but all will be forgiven if he can take the WGC Bridgestone.

Firestone is a course where you need to drive the ball well and that shouldn’t be a problem for the Australian considering he is ranked third in total driving.

Scott won the event in 2011 and has three further top-10s to his name, including a T8 last year that would have been even better but for a poor final five holes.

The return of Steve Williams has coincided with an upturn in fortunes and no one knows Firestone better. The New Zealander caddied Tiger Woods to seven victories at the course.

At 18/1 (Coral) we should get a good run for our money.
