Walt Disney World Golf Tips: Webb Simpson

Money List Leader

Currently playing the best golf on the PGA Tour with two wins in his last six tournaments. Very surprised he is not favourite.

It might not be the most imaginative tip but I can’t see many people finishing ahead of Webb Simpson. Since a missed cut at the PGA Championship he has gone 1-T10-1-5-22-2 and surged to the head of the money list. The only ‘poor’ result was the 22nd place finish at the Tour Championship, a tournament Simpson later admitted was one too many in a hectic schedule.

After a three-week break to recharge the batteries, the 26-year-old American made the play-off at The McGladrey Classic. He eventually lost to Ben Crane, but played beautifully all four days.

Ranked second on tour for birdie average and second for scoring average, Webb Simpson loves the archetypal PGA Tour event - when it’s a case of how low can you go. At 10/1 with Boylesports he rates a strong win only bet.
