A Golfing Nightmare
Kevin Na’s misfortune gains sympathy from every high handicap golfer in the land.
Every amateur golfer has had one of those holes that wrecks a good round. The same fate befell Kevin Na, unfortunately it was on the PGA Tour. At the Valero Texas Open he took 16 shots on the par-4 ninth. Amazingly it isn’t the worst single hole score as that dubious record belongs to John Daly, who had an 18 on the par-5 sixth at Bay Hill in 1998.
