Utah Championship Tips: Justin Thomas
Big things were expected after his glittering amateur career and he now looks capable of delivering.
Justin Thomas began the season as the most talked about player on the Web.com Tour and recent results justified the hype.
Thomas enjoyed a glittering amateur career; he was College Player of the Year in 2012, winning the prestigious Nicklaus and Haskins award and was part of the USA’s victorious Walker Cup team the following year.
The 21-year-old is seventh on the Web.com Tour’s money list and is likely to gain promotion to the PGA Tour next season; however I’m sure he wants to leave his mark with a victory.
He saw Walker Cup teammate Max Homa do exactly that at the BMW Charity Pro-Am andhopefully he can take inspiration from the victory.
Thomas has finished T11-T22-T4 in his last three starts and looks ready to win at 18/1 (Bet365).
