Hunter Mahan has steadily improved through the Playoffs with finishes of T25-T13-T4. If that trends continues then he could go close at the Tour Championship.
East Lake is arguably his favourite of the four venues used for the Playoffs; he’s never finished worse than T24, has three top-10 finishes and was runner-up in 2011.
It’s been another consistent year for the 31-year-old with 15 top-25 finishes and only three missed cuts but victory has eluded him so far.
He can put that right at East Lake and at 18/1 he looks a solid each-way bet with 1/4 odds for a top-4 finish.
Several bookmakers are offering 18/1 but I recommend placing the bet with Paddy Power who are refunding the win part of each-way bets if your golfer finishes second.
