Tour Championship Tips: Adam Scott
Won at East Lake in 2006 and has ranked inside the top-10 for strokes gained tee-to-green in every Playoff event this season.
Having backed (and profited) from tipping Adam Scott in the last two Playoff events it seems silly to desert him now. The Australian’s price has contracted as the field has shrunk but he is only 5 points shorter than at the BMW Championship.
Tee-to-green there haven’t been many better than Scott during the Playoffs, he’s ranked 1-6-8 in strokes gained on his last three starts. Unfortunately, the putter has held him back but that’s always been the way with him.
At the start of the season he was putting well and winning tournaments and only needs a slight improvement to do so again.
Scott won at East Lake in 2006 and the way he’s swinging he should go close again at 10/1 with Stan James paying the extra place; ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
