The Memorial Tournament: Matt Kuchar
Has finished in the top 10 more often than not this season and has three top ten finishes at the course in the last four years.
A trend fitter, Matt Kuchar arrives in Ohio in top form. A pair of top 20s in Texas continues his run of no missed cuts this year. In the 13 events he has played he has made the top 10 seven times, a fantastically consistent record.
His record at Muirfield Village is also excellent. In his last four visits he has finished: T8-T5-T10-T13. It is a course that he is clearly comfortable at. The stats also back up his excellent form. He ranks second on tour for scoring average and fourth in the all-round ranking.
Kuchar tends to win one tournament a year and the Memorial looks as good as any. At 20/1 he is a very solid each way play, with the bookmakers paying ¼ odds for a top five finish.
