Matt Kuchar has gone off the boil in recent months with only one top-10 since the start of February but that means he has drifted to a backable each-way price.

I doubt we will have to wait much longer for an upturn in fortunes; after all he has averaged over $4.5m in earnings for each of the past five seasons.

A return to Muirfield Village, one of Kuchar’s favourite venues, could be the spark he needs.

The 36-year-old has finished inside the top-15 in his last seven visits to the Memorial tournament, winning once in 2013.

His impressive course record makes him an each-way play at 30/1 (Coral) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
