The ‘Chubby’ Slam
All three major winners hail from Andrew 'Chubby' Chandler’s roster of golfers. What odds one of his players wins the US PGA?
We had the ‘Tiger Slam’ in 2001, could 2011 be the year of the ‘Chubby Slam’. All three major winners are looked after by Andrew ‘Chubby’ Chandler and his sports management agency ISM. The old saying that ‘success breeds success’ is certainly true for his group. With a roll call of around thirty professional golfers, it is a remarkable achievement.
The US PGA Championship in August is the final major of the year and the odds of another ISM golfer winning is 3/1. This is calculated by dutching all of the ISM golfers.
Perhaps it will be more straight forward if Lee Westwood could gain his overdue major at 14/1.
