Michael Putnam continues his return from injury and looked good for a long time for his T37 finish at the Great Exuma Classic a fortnight ago.
An experiencing campaigner, he topped the Web.com Tour money list in 2013 and knows what it takes to get the job done.
As he gets more golf under his belt he will get better and better and he’s strung two top-40s in a row together.
Conditions this week shouldn’t pose a problem, he can handle the wind and his record at Pebble Beach is T55-T35-T21, therefore a return to a seaside links is in his favour. At 125/1 (Sky Bet) he is a lively outsider.
