South Georgia Classic Tips: Andrew Putnam

Dominated last week in Texas and there have been three back-to-back winners on the Web.com Tour in the last three years.

After last week’s 7-shot victory I’m surprised Andrew Putnam isn’t favourite for the South Georgia Classic.

The cancellation of the final round only curtailed his victory march. He had stretched his lead to eight at that stage and it was a shame he won the tournament in the clubhouse rather than on the course.

Like his brother Michael, Andrew was keen to get a win under his belt early in the season and he could emulate his sibling by winning back-to-back tournaments.

A player has managed a quick fire double in each of the last three seasons on the Web.com Tour therefore don’t be surprised if Andrew Putnam wins again at 22/1 (Bet365)
