Scottish Open Tips: Francesco Molinari

Arrives in good form and this is a tournament he should have won by now; lost in a playoff two years ago.

The Scottish Open moves to Royal Aberdeen for the first time in it’s history but the challenge presented should be similar to that of Castle Stuart and that brings Francesco Molinari into the mix.

The Italian lost in a playoff two years ago and finished T42 last year despite sitting comfortably inside the top-10 at the halfway stage.

The 31-year-old is enjoying another consistent year and arrives in good form having finished T7-MC-T23-T12-T26 in his last five starts.

His best results in majors have come at the Open Championship, with a T9 last year and he should put up another bold showing at 40/1 (Coral) with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish.
