Garcia A Contender In Qatar

Hampered by a shoulder injury in Abu Dhabi but played his final three rounds in 10-under. Has a good record in Qatar.

Outside of the first three, no one finished more strongly in Abu Dhabi than Sergio Garcia.

Hampered by a shoulder injury in the first round, the Spaniard followed up with rounds of 68-70-68 and eventually finished T19. You have to imagine if he started the tournament 100% fit he would have gone close to winning.

Thankfully, compensation isn’t that far away as the 34-year-old tees it up in Qatar, another course where he enjoys a good record. In the last seven years, he has finished T19-T7-T7-T24-T9-T5-T2.

At 8/1 (Betfred), Sergio Garcia is a solid win only proposition.
