After a couple of years in the golfing wilderness, Henrik Stenson is back to the sort of form that helped him win the Players Championship in 2009.
The 37-year-old is back in the world’s top-50 and has two top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour this season, already his best return since 2009.
Ranked first for total driving and first for GIRs, there isn’t anyone playing better tee to green on tour right now.
This all bodes well for his return to TPC Sawgrass, a venue that he loves. In seven visits, he’s finished T3-T23-T10-1-MC-MC-T15, the missed cuts coming when he was really struggling with his game.
With such a good record at the course he looks overpriced at 66/1 (Bet365) and a good each-way bet with 1/4 odds for a top-6 finish.
