Overton Can Break His Duck at 90/1

Started the 2013/14 season with four top-25 finishes in five starts and finished eighth last year.

It is 218 starts and counting for Jeff Overton who is still searching for his maiden tour title but the 30-year-old has been getting close in recent months.

Overton has started the new season with finishes of T16-T9-T16-MC-T23, enough to put him 22nd in the FedEx Cup standings.

A runner-up four times in his career, there is a question mark whether he can actually take that final step into the winner’s circle, but his chances increase at the Sony Open because of his course record.

He finished eighth at Waialae last year and has broken 70 in 10 of his last 12 competitive rounds at the course.

Having recently got married he can keep the good times rolling at 90/1 (Stan James).
