Mexico Championship Tips: Jason Millard

Ranked in the top-10 for birdie and scoring average. Already has two top-25s this season.

It was third time lucky for Jason Millard as he finally came through Web.com Tour Q-School to earn his playing rights.

The 26-year-old first hit the headlines when disqualifying himself from the US Open having come through regional qualifying in 2014 but his first positive impression came on the PGA Tour Canada last season.

Millard registered four top-25 finishes but impressed when winning the Freedom 55 Financial Champions in September, enough to finish fifth on the money list. That good form carried into Q-School where he finished second and now into the new Web.com Tour season.

After withdrawing from the Panama Championship he has finished T46-T7-T25 and sits in the top-10 on tour for birdie average and scoring average. He’s long enough off the tee and can continue making a name for himself with a good showing at 70/1 (Bet365).
