Finished in the top-20 on last five starts and runner-up last year despite struggling with his game.
Brooks Koepka somehow contrived to lose the Byron Nelson when we tipped him last year and although he’s half the price, he arrives in much better form.
Twelve months ago Koepka lost in a playoff to Sergo Garcia but it’s a miracle he even got there as for the entire week he was bemoaning his poor play. This time he arrives in much better form. On his last five starts he’s finished 9-11-2-5-16 and his early season woes have been left well behind.
A course record of MC-16-2 is trending in the right direction and the 26-year-old is too good to go winless for much longer. Back him at 18/1 with Paddy Power and get 7 places at 1/5 odds.
